the teo's invited me into their home since our plans to shoot at an orchard was rained upon. this is my first ever in-home session but i'm glad to say it won't be my last because i loved it so much! there's something so special about seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary moments of life (which tends to fly by you!), and i'm so happy to have been able to capture these minute details for the teo's. they read stories together, chucked pompoms at each other, and lukas even busted out his own camera to take his family's portrait (hello competition). we also had tea together + went all out jumping on the beds before catching a quick nap.
looking back at the session, i'm amazed at how much emotion + story there was behind each frame. i also love the documentary style of these images - they are all so personal yet capture the fun + joy in this family. thank you so much for letting me into a day in your life, teo family!
