ever wondered what it would be like to live in a castle? i'm proud to say 'i've been there, done that'.
for my parents' 30th wedding anniversary, the fam + i got to live in windsor castle for a night i.e. where prince harry + meghan tied the knot. thanks to some awesome family connections (asians eh), we stayed in a private area of the castle, had front row seats to the changing of the guards, + got a personal tour of the grounds with a lot of juicy history. oh, + did i mention we also got a discount for some royal ice cream? fyi, the ice cream is made with milk from the jersey herd on the royal farm ;)
on the sunday, we got to attend the church service at windsor castle. we sat on the rows by the alter where harry + meghan were wedded (i learnt where the queen would sit if she was at the church) + the choir literally sounded like angels. throughout the weekend, we got special vip passes to get in + out of the castle grounds, skipping the queue (+ admission ticket fees!) + befriending the policeman guarding the entrance. all in all - it was a mad weekend mate.
